Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton
Been there; done that; bought the Klingon blood wine.
I thought it was pretty cool. Well, maybe "cool" isn't the right word for something that's inherently geeky. But it was pretty cool.
And afterwards, I had a couple of extra large "James Tea Kirks" at Quark's. Basically a very large Long Island Tea, but with blue curacao instead of triple sec, and a dash of Sprite instead of Coke. And dry ice. In a pretty funky glass.
It looked something like this:
I like Quark's.
Geez. Al Stewart and Star Trek. What a dork.

put the pic up!!!
Your command is like an order.
I wonder how you say "bottoms up" in Klingon?
I also wonder how I can resize that picture so it won't throw off the formatting of the blog.
Excelsior!
(Resizing successful. And I figured it out myself.)
Isn't my command the same as an order?
perhaps it should be "your command is my wish?" LOL
Congrats on getting the pic up and resized, I am sure the photographer won't mind the lack of credit.
Don't know "bottoms up", but I found you an insult:
Hab SoSlI' Quch! meaning Your mother has a smooth forehead! Its a grave insult.
"Your command is like an order" is from a Bullwinkle episode--the one with The Ruby Yacht of Omar Kayahm.
And in this case, your "command" to post the picture of the drink is like a drink "order."
Wheels within wheels, eh?
_________
And, of course, former spongegirl is the photographer, which I thought was implied by her command to post it.
_________
I think I found the same Klingon dictionary website as you did. I recognized the insult.
_________
About that name-- I can't read it without thinking o the Seinfeld episode dealing with spongeworthiness.
Sorry, my knowledge of Rocky and Bullwinkle is limited, but perhaps you can remedy that.
--------
I realize the insult is a bit late and all, but you did ask for one.
--------
I said the photographer wouldn't mind. LOL
--------
about the name-well you know, you are responsible for part of it
--------
hmmm *licking lips*
just thinking about how spongeworthy you could be ...
There is that lit thing...
Now, that's a dring! Gotta love Vegas.
Oops, drink *hiccup*.
