At last I understand why the Brits are such wussies when it comes to guns. I've never understood why a once free people would decide that they can no longer trust themselves with the right to keep and bear arms. Until now:

ST. LOUIS: Warm beer led to killing, police say

A St. Louis man was shot to death Sunday night over a warm beer, police said.
St. Louis police say a woman shot her husband, who was about 70 years old, four to five times in the chest after he tried giving her a warm can of Stag beer.
All things considered, it's a wonder the British Isles weren't depopulated centuries ago.

Maybe it wasn't the warm, maybe it was the Stag.
That couldn't possibly be it. Stag is the Lone Star of the Mississippi Valley.
If she hadn't had a gun to hand, she would have used a kitchen knife.
I read something recently about some activist group claiming that certain types of kitchen knives should be banned so that people won't use them to murder each other.
I suppose once kitchen knives are banned from our kitchens, they will next turn to blunt instruments, such as baseball bats and fire pokers.
